Steven P. Florio, ChFC®, FSCP

Steven P. Florio joined Florio Wealth Management Group in mid-2012 after several years working as an operations manager for a boutique tour operator based in Queens, NY. Prior to joining the workforce, Steven attended Holy Trinity Diocesan High School in Hicksville, NY where he played basketball and baseball during his four years as a Titan. He then went on to attend Siena College in Loudonville, NY on a Presidential Scholarship where he graduated with a B.A. in philosophy and a minor concentration in writing communications.  

Since joining Florio Wealth Management Group, Steven has developed a passion for adopting the financial planning principles utilized by the firm that aim to align the client's personal and financial goals with their core values.  In particular, he specializes in the areas of qualified retirement plans, individual retirement planning, and risk management.   

Over the past decade, Steven has helped hundreds of individuals and business owners achieve their financial and personal goals for reasons that are important to them.  Through the implementation of the firm’s Wealth with Peace™ process, he provides clients with the peace of mind and freedom that can only be attained through careful planning and implementation. 

Steven maintains his love of athletics and over the years has coached basketball for his local parish CYO in Baldwin, NY as well as for the New York Knicks’ summer camp program in East Hampton, NY.  In addition, he served as the assistant Junior Varsity boys' basketball coach at his alma mater, Holy Trinity High School.   

Steven is also actively involved in several local chapters of national charitable organizations that he has had strong personal ties to since his youth, including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.  Steven currently resides in East Rockaway, NY with his wife, Monica, and their three children.
